Scope of Services

Exhibit One Investigations, LLC provides private investigative services including, but not limited to, surveillance operations, background and intelligence investigations, locate and asset investigations, fraud investigations, litigation support, and confidential investigations.

All services are subject to a separate written engagement agreement executed between Exhibit One Investigations, LLC and the client prior to the commencement of any investigative work. These Terms of Service govern your use of this website only and do not constitute an engagement agreement or a guarantee of services.

Exhibit One Investigations, LLC reserves the right to decline any inquiry or engagement at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.

No Guarantee of Outcome

Investigative work is inherently uncertain. Exhibit One Investigations, LLC makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the outcome of any investigation. The firm's obligation is to conduct professional, thorough, and legally compliant investigative work — not to produce a specific result.

Any estimates, assessments, or opinions provided during an initial consultation are professional judgments based on available information and do not constitute a guarantee of findings or outcomes.

Client Responsibilities

Clients engaging Exhibit One Investigations, LLC are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information relevant to their matter. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may compromise the investigation and does not relieve the client of payment obligations.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their use of investigative services complies with all applicable laws. Exhibit One Investigations, LLC will not conduct investigations that violate federal or state law, and will not act on instructions that require unlawful conduct regardless of the client's stated purpose.

Confidentiality

Exhibit One Investigations, LLC treats all client communications and case-related information as strictly confidential. Information shared in connection with an inquiry or engagement will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or court order.

Clients are likewise expected to treat information provided by Exhibit One Investigations, LLC — including investigative methods, reports, evidence, and findings — as confidential. Unauthorized disclosure of investigative reports or methods may compromise ongoing or future matters and may expose the disclosing party to liability.

Note: Exhibit One Investigations, LLC is not a law firm and the investigator-client relationship does not create attorney-client privilege. However, when Exhibit One Investigations, LLC is engaged by or at the direction of an attorney, applicable work product protections may apply. Clients with questions about privilege should consult their legal counsel.

Payment Terms

Fees, retainer requirements, and payment terms are established in the written engagement agreement for each matter. All fees are due in accordance with the terms of that agreement. Exhibit One Investigations, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.

Retainers are applied against billable time and expenses. Unused retainer balances are refundable in accordance with the terms of the engagement agreement. Work performed prior to cancellation is billable regardless of outcome.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Exhibit One Investigations, LLC's total liability to any client or website user for any claim arising from or related to the use of this website or any investigative services shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Exhibit One Investigations, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of business opportunity, or reputational harm, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
